Job summary

Signalink, Inc. is a dynamic defense contractor seeking a detail-oriented Systems Engineer in Huntsville. You will apply systems engineering across the lifecycle of avionics and aircraft systems, and collaborate with government and industry customers to define and verify requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3–15 years experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required; Signalink offers comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3–15 years in systems engineering, avionics, or related field.
• Experience applying SE methodologies to complex systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, data and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Travel up to 10% when needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles across avionics and aircraft system lifecycle.
• Collaborate with government and industry customers to gather objectives and requirements.
• Define, analyze, allocate, verify, and trace system requirements.
• Perform independent analyses of avionics and aircraft systems.
• Support architecture development, interface definition, and integration.
• Prepare documentation for airworthiness, safety, verification and validation.
• Review analyses, test results, and reports for sound conclusions.
• Identify risks and impacts to aircraft-level performance and airworthiness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to customers; MBSE adoption.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
