JOB TITLE: Avionics System Development Engineer

REMOTE WORK OPTIONS AVAILABLE!

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking multiple engineers to provide validation of system requirements for a full-suite avionics system.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems
• Experience with application of ARP4754A to system design and validation
• Experience validating system requirements for an avionics equipment suite
• Experience tracing system requirements both upstream and downstream
• System requirements validation experience with one or more of the following avionics subsystem types: Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, Heads Up Displays, Cockpit Displays, Flight Management Systems, or other Avionics
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks
• Self-motivated and takes the initiative to get things done
• Detail-oriented
• Process-oriented
• Experience working with remote team members

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Understanding of system safety considerations
• Experience with DOORS requirements management application
• Experience with Jira change management application
• Experience with Collaborator review management application
• Experience verifying implementation of System Change Requests (SCRs) including Test Case development and Test Procedure development
• Experience with DO-178
