Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking an Avionics and Survivability Equipment Repairer to join its communications maintenance team. You will maintain switchboards, telephones, and related wire instruments, performing field and sustainment-level maintenance on stabilization and avionic flight control systems.

You will learn and apply procedures to test, repair, calibrate, and interconnect components using schematics, with opportunities to pursue civilian careers in engineering and manufacturing after

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical test equipment and electronics fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn repair of radar and sonar systems.
• Ability to apply electronic principles to troubleshooting.
• Interest in working with electrical and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, and repair avionics and communications equipment.
