Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking an Avionics and Survivability Equipment Repairer to support field and sustainment maintenance of flight control and communications systems. You will work on switchboards, telephones, and related wiring, ensuring reliable operation for Army operations.

The role includes hands-on repair, calibration, and testing of radar and sonar-related equipment, with training opportunities through the Guard.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, and repair communications equipment and wiring.
• Install and repair circuits and wiring; calibrate and align components.
• Test repaired equipment and isolate faulty assemblies.
