Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Radio and Communications Security Repairer to maintain secure communications equipment and systems for units. You will install, repair, calibrate, and string wiring, while protecting sensitive information and following NSA-approved procedures.

Advanced roles include supervising Soldiers, testing equipment, and ensuring the use of approved components for security and cryptographic repairs.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma, GED, or be a high school junior/senior.
• Ages 17–35.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements as specified.

Responsibilities

• Use test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Training develops skills for civilian careers in radio repair, radio mechanics, teletype repair, or station installation.
• Earn while you learn through paid training and a regular paycheck during the program.
