Job summary

System One in the Seattle area is seeking an Avionics Supply Chain Program Manager for a contract engagement. You will lead integrated product teams to capture concepts, define SoWs, SDRLs, and drive procurement timelines with contract manufacturers.

You will coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain partners to release product artifacts and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality. A bachelor’s in avionics engineering and 5–10 years of program management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant avionics engineering field with project management experience or training.
• 5–10 years of experience in developing complex electronic products and NPI program management.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and externals manufacturers to plan, fabricate, test, and deliver products.
• Proficient in data reporting, budgets, cost accounting (MS Excel or similar).
• Proven ability to develop, communicate, and execute schedules (MS Project or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication with detail orientation.
• Customer-oriented team player with ownership and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Team up with IPT leadership to capture product concepts and design artifacts for manufacture.
• Champion PM best practices and drive IPTs to release product artifacts for manufacture.
• Collaborate to develop SoWs, SDRLs, and other artifacts for external fabrication.
• Coordinate with supply chain and contract manufacturers to plan and deliver products on schedule.
• Strengthen vendor relationships by communicating program information and supplier capabilities.
• Create and coordinate demand signals for hardware purchases with supporting functions.
• Schedule status meetings with suppliers to monitor performance and address risks.
• Plan and conduct product functional, acceptance, and qualification testing with internal and external teams.
• Manage scope changes, deviations, and schedule adjustments; act as primary supplier contact.
