Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in safety-critical avionics software development for military and surveillance platforms. You will develop embedded avionics software in C++ with focus on RFIO or surveillance systems, perform DO-178C compliant work, and contribute to requirements, tests, and certification artifacts.

The role involves flight test support and data interpretation, with opportunities to work across diverse systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with DO-178C and embedded software lifecycle.
• Proficiency in C/C++, build systems, and compiler configurations.
• Familiarity with DOORS for requirements management.
• Experience with certification environments and related artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded avionics software in C++ for RFIO/Surveillance systems.
• Perform DO-178C compliant software development (DAL A preferred).
• Create and manage requirements using DOORS.
• Support software certification artifacts and traceability.
• Conduct code reviews, builds, and configuration management.
• Assist flight test integration and data flow interpretation, and use Python for testing.
