Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer in the CN&S organization to help design and advance the next-generation aircraft weather radar and related integrated avionics technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, author system requirements in DOORs, run MATLAB-based simulations, oversee flight-test plans, and help ensure safety and performance across the radar and avionics stack.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences/engineering/math).
  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience, preferably in Avionics, Radar or Aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and advance Honeywell's weather radar and integrated avionics technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems into flight test aircraft and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Design and oversee flight test plans to validate radar performance under real-world scenarios.
  • Analyze flight data to verify system requirements and support certification.
  • Author high-level system requirements in DOORs.
  • Utilize MATLAB-based simulation tools for model-based development.
  • Engage in systems integration, validation and verification activities.
