Job summary

Sidus Space, Inc. in Cape Canaveral, FL, is seeking a Production Project Manager to lead avionics production programs. This onsite role collaborates with design, manufacturing, test engineering and supply chain to drive end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution.

The candidate will own project milestones, manage risks, track costs and production flow, and support NPI activities while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of production and process improvement experience; aerospace/manufacturing preferred.
• Onsite role in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for avionics production programs, from planning and scheduling through delivery.
• Facilitate efforts of design, manufacturing, test engineering, supply chain and other ops teams to enable production of avionics hardware.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Make informed build sequence and schedule decisions to optimize efficiency and meet timelines.
• Triage issues to enable production movement and recovery planning.
• Own production flow for assigned products and report progress to leadership.
• Support NPI readiness activities, tooling, fixtures, and production validation.
• Coordinate with supply chain to resolve material shortages and vendor quality concerns.
• Track project financials, labor planning, and material consumption.
