Job summary

Sidus Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules for aerospace manufacturing. The role requires coordinating with engineering, production, program management and supply chain to align materials, inventories and resources with project timelines.

The position emphasizes strong analytics, advanced MS Project skills, and the ability to communicate across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in production planning.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing or related complex industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules.
• Gather data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules.
• Monitor daily production results and revise scheduling in response to changes in materials, designs, equipment, or other resources.
• Utilize ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting.
• Broad accountability to make informed decisions regarding build sequence and schedule to optimize efficiency and meet project timelines.
• Triage and provide recommendations related to identified issues in order to enable production to move forward.
• Take ownership of the production flow for assigned products, including reporting progress and challenges to leadership, recovery planning and continuous improvement of execution.
• Mitigate risks and manage impacts to ensure scheduling objectives are achieved.
• Other duties as assigned
