Job summary

Air Methods Corporation seeks an Aircraft Mechanic with rotor-aircraft experience to perform maintenance, inspections and alterations on company-operated rotorcraft. You will ensure all documentation complies with FARs and internal procedures while participating in SMS initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience, AMT background, and flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations. FAA processes and RAMCO experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years’ related aircraft maintenance experience required (AS350/EC130 experience preferred).
• FAA A&P license in good standing preferred; IA preferred.
• Experience with airframe/power plant maintenance and FAR 145 operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and repairs aircraft and components per procedures, ADs, service bulletins, and FARs.
• Verify part/serial numbers match documentation during installation/removal.
• Ensure maintenance documentation complies with FARs and company procedures.
• Participate in Air Methods Safety Management System (SMS) improvements.
• Maintain clean, professional work area; perform other duties as assigned.
