Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an Avionics Lab Engineer to join Amazon Leo in Redmond, WA. You will work hands-on with lab computing systems, perform verification tests, and help design and maintain test racks and wiring for avionics hardware.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent, Linux experience, and 2+ years in consumer electronics labs. You will collaborate with design, test, and operations teams to ensure high-quality hardware for satellite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the Linux environment.
• 2+ years in consumer electronics lab environments.
• Experience testing electronics hardware.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain lab computing systems (Windows/Ubuntu).
• Execute design verification and qualification tests for avionics hardware.
• Oversee lab spaces, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics.
• Read electrical schematics, interpret mechanical drawings, and install wiring for low voltage systems.
• Assemble test racks, wire harnesses, and automation equipment.
• Write work instructions and improve processes.
