Job summary

A leading aviation training institute located in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking an experienced Avionics Technical Instructor to prepare classroom sessions and effectively deliver course materials to customers. The ideal candidate should possess an FCC General Radio Telephone license and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in maintaining and troubleshooting avionics systems. The role includes developing specialized courses and requires travel both nationally and internationally. A strong customer-first attitude is essential, along with great presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Must possess FCC General Radio Telephone license or Airframe certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in avionics or electrical systems.
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and autopilot systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare classroom and deliver course materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of training shop areas.
  • Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers.
  • Update and build courseware with Training Support Development.
  • Travel required for presenting aircraft courses.
