Job summary

Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Avionics Technical Instructor to teach Bell electrical, AFCS and avionics courses at our Fort Worth facility. Travel to US and international customers (15%) is required.

The role demands hands-on experience maintaining aircraft systems and strong presentation skills. You will prepare and deliver course content, maintain shop areas, and develop specialized courses for clients, including US-based and international customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • FCC General Radio Telephone license and/or Airframe certificate required.
  • At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting avionics, electrical and autopilot systems on helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Self-starter with strong presentation skills and customer-facing abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to the customers.
  • Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers.
  • Develop a rapport with the customer base to include US based and international customers.
  • Work with the Training Support Development team to update courseware or build courseware as needed.
  • Travel required to present aircraft courses both in the US and Internationally (15%).
