West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking an Avionics Install Technician to join our full-time, on-site team.

You will remove and install avionics panels and interiors, troubleshoot systems, and support wiring installations under supervision of the Maintenance team. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, electronics or avionics training preferred, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electronics or avionics training preferred.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow wiring routes.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install avionics panels and components on aircraft.
• Stamp, bundle and install wiring connectors.
• Troubleshoot avionics systems and perform functional tests.
• Maintain hangar equipment and shop facilities as needed.
• Work both in a team and independently as required.
