Lanteris Space Systems in San Jose, CA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer, Digital to join our Bus Electronics Design team, focusing on avionics hardware development. This hands-on, on-site role covers concept through schematic capture, PCB layout, integration, and flight qualification of spaceborne electronics.

You will lead hardware design decisions, collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, and test teams, and perform benchtop and environmental validation.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design for avionics or space hardware.
• Proficiency in digital electronics design, testing, and on-board computing.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of avionics hardware from concept to schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Own hardware through production, integration, and on-orbit performance.
• Design, analyze, and test digital electronics hardware for spacecraft applications with prototyping and bring-up.
