Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in San Jose, CA seeks a Sr. Avionics/CDH Subsystem Engineer to design and integrate onboard computer systems for diverse missions, with remote work options within the U.S.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, creating interface specs, telemetry budgets, and performing system verification, while collaborating with Flight Software, Harness, and other teams to ensure mission success. Requirements include U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or related field.
• 5 years of electrical system CDH architecture or relevant space avionics experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development of subsystem designs and perform requirements definition and flowdown.
• Develop interface specifications and CONOPS for Avionics subsystems.
• Create telemetry budgets and inputs for avionics sizing.
• Collaborate with Flight Software, Database, Harness and other engineers for CDH integration.
• Perform verification and validation of the designed system and resolve issues during testing.
• Develop and test mission operational products and procedures.
