Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Avionics Engineer to design flight hardware, including circuits and PCBs for spacecraft subsystems. You will own hardware lifecycle from concept to testing and collaborate across engineering teams to push satellite avionics capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years designing hardware with strong analog/mixed-signal skills and experience debugging embedded software.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years in PCB/hardware design or equivalent.
• Strong passion for hardware development in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design and debugging with embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Design circuits and PCBs for spacecraft subsystems.
• Characterize, test, and validate hardware across the spacecraft.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to architect, design, and execute avionics for satellites.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring teammates for a growing team.
