Job summary

Collins Aerospace in College Park, GA is seeking an onsite Electronics Technician to set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems.

The role requires an AA/AS degree with 6 years of relevant experience, electronics maintenance background, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment; weekend shift is Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. FAA safety requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
• Has a basic understanding of advanced test equipment functions. Capable of reprogramming equipment and determines possible failures.
• Aligns and adjusts advanced electrical components on units being tested to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits.

Education

AA/AS degree or equivalent

Six years of relevant experience
