Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wichita, KS is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionics equipment in an FAA-regulated environment. The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule and requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS with 2+ years of electronics experience.

Responsibilities include soldering fine pitch and SMD components, analyzing products per customer requirements, and maintaining schedules. FAA safety and drug testing apply.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with 2+ years of relevant electronics experience.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electronics equipment.
• Prior experience in a Collins Aerospace MRO environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and modify avionics equipment under general supervision.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair in FAA-regulated environment.
• Solder fine pitch and surface-mount components.
• Conduct technical analysis of products and modifications per customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot down to component level and manage time effectively.
