Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionics equipment in an FAA-regulated environment. You will work with Collins Aerospace workmanship and quality standards, including handling products returned for service.

The role is a first shift, onsite position requiring the ability to solder fine pitch and SMD components, conduct technical analyses, and lift 25+ pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.
• Prior experience working in a Collins Aerospace MRO environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and modify avionics equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot to component level; analyze modifications per documentation.
• Solder fine pitch and SMD components.
• Assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
• Operate with strong organizational and time management skills.
