Job summary

RTX Avionics is seeking an Electronics Technician in Federal Way, WA for a first-shift, onsite role. You will test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify various avionics equipment in an FAA-regulated setting, following strict workmanship and quality standards.

Expect to collaborate with engineering and leadership and support project teams to meet customer requirements. The position emphasizes hands-on electronics work, use of SAP and MRO tools, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a HS diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must have an electronics background or education with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
• Follow written procedures and demonstrate proper use of hand tools and measuring devices.
• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Troubleshooting and testing of repair units.
• Aligns and adjusts advanced electronic components on units being repaired to ensure proper functioning of electronic circuits.
