Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 to perform testing, troubleshooting, and installation of aircraft systems. You will read schematics, perform quality repairs, and document work to meet safety and schedule requirements.

This position may be on 1st or 2nd shift, requires physical capability to climb and lift up to 50 pounds, and may involve travel up to 25% to support field testing and certification activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years avionics/electrical experience or 2 years schooling + 2 years related experience.
• A&P, FCC or NCATT licenses/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test aircraft systems and perform functional testing.
• Install and verify electrical/avionics components per specs.
• Repair or replace defective wiring and components.
• Document work for inspection and conformity.
• Adapt to schedule changes while maintaining safety and quality.
• Operate test equipment and support engineering changes.
