Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 to perform testing, troubleshooting, and installation of aircraft systems. You will read schematics, perform quality repairs, and document work to meet safety and schedule requirements.
This position may be on 1st or 2nd shift, requires physical capability to climb and lift up to 50 pounds, and may involve travel up to 25% to support field testing and certification activities.

Experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician with strong skills in aircraft systems testing, troubleshooting, and electrical component installation. Proficient in reading schematics, performing quality repairs, and adapting to schedule changes while maintaining safety and documentation standards.
This position could be for 1st or 2nd shift.
High School Diploma or GED required. Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field. or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC preferred. Other NCATT preferred.
Position Purpose:Provides technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality. May fill in for the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician thus ensuring that the company goals of safety and quality are enforced at all times while adhering to daily work plans to maintain schedule requirements.
