Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 to join the GAC Savannah site. The role involves testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting discrepancies, and installing electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and manuals.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 4 years in avionics/electrical field or 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus 2 years related experience. A&P license preferred; travel up to 25% and multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
• FCC preferred and NCATT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Installs and functionally tests electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and maintenance manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations and performs repairs as needed.
• Documents all work for inspection and operates test equipment for functional tests.
• Adapts to schedule changes while maintaining safety and documentation standards.
