Job summary

RS Avionics/Electrical Tech II - Special Missions in GAC Savannah is a first-shift role focused on testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing discrepancies to protect schedule and safety. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with 4 years avionics/electrical experience or 2 years accredited aviation electronics schooling plus 2 years related experience; A&P

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4 years avionics/electrical experience or 2 years schooling + 2 years related experience.
• A&P license preferred; FCC and NCATT preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test aircraft systems and perform functional and operational tests.
• Troubleshoot and repair discrepancies to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Install and test electrical/avionics components per specs and manuals.
• Document work for inspection and maintain test equipment and wiring integrity.
• Adapt to schedule changes and support certification/testing activities.
