Job summary

Breeze Airways seeks an Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineer to lead repairs, alterations, and maintenance specifications for Airbus and Embraer aircraft. You will evaluate new avionics technologies, manage airworthiness, and support Line and Heavy Maintenance to maintain safety and reliability.

The role requires 7+ years in avionics engineering, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with flight operations and MRO teams. Travel and international work are possible.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree with avionics/electrical systems concentration.
• 7+ years in engineering relating to avionics, electrical systems modification and repair.
• Experience with avionics architecture and FMS/software requirements.
• Experience with ARINC data buses and IP security.
• Regulatory knowledge of 14 CFR 21/25/91/121 and Part 121 environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and action Airworthiness Directives to ensure FAA/compliance.
• Disposition avionics/electrical systems Service Bulletins and modifications.
• Coordinate with flight/operations on voice/datalink applications and OCs software.
• Develop data for modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting of avionics/electrical systems.
• Obtain regulatory approvals for modifications/repairs; prepare EO documents.
• Provide on-site technical support at MROs for AOG situations.
