Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Captain to lead safe, on-time flight operations with emphasis on adherence to FARs and company policies. You will supervise crew, verify airworthiness, and maintain high proficiency across operations.

This role requires extensive flight hours, a current medical certificate, and the ability to travel and work in the United States. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • FAA Unrestricted ATP certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating.
  • Minimum 3,000 hours fixed-wing time.
  • 2,000+ hours total time in large, Group II transport category aircraft.
  • 500+ hours of PIC in large, Group II transport category aircraft.
  • 500+ hours of US FAA Part 121 PIC time within the last 3 years.
  • Active flying two of the past five years.
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and timely completion of flight operations in accordance with FARs and company policies.
  • Operate aircraft after verifying airworthiness and current factors.
  • Supervise and enroute performance of other crewmembers.
  • Maintain proficiency in flight operations, procedures, and systems.
  • Complete pre- and post-flight inspections for airworthiness.
  • Review weather, departure/arrival and alternate station conditions.
  • Plan and fuel flights safely according to policies and regulations.
  • Handle aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points as needed.
  • Promptly inform dispatcher of any factors affecting schedule.
  • Observe conduct policies and manage risk across all flight phases.
  • Perform other flight officer duties as assigned.
