Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking an EEE Component Reliability Engineer to strengthen the design team's use of commercial electronics while ensuring robust qualification of custom silicon. You will plan, execute, and document reliability testing, interfacing with supply chain, design and test engineering, and production.

The role requires a BS in EE, 3+ years in semiconductor reliability, and experience with JEDEC/AEC-Q100 and embedded C.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years in semiconductor product engineering or reliability.
• 1+ years touching reliability testing methodologies (JEDEC/AEC-Q100).
• Experience in embedded C programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead component reliability test planning, methodology and execution.
• Drive reliability issues and risk toward closure.
• Analyze failures from reliability testing and coordinate investigations.
• Build reliability prediction models and evaluate life conditions.
• Interface with supply chain, design and test engineering, and production.
• Coordinate destructive analysis investigations for corrective actions.
• Execute testing campaigns to assess hardware and component reliability.
