Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking an organized Engineering Document Coordinator to support our vehicle avionics engineering team. The role focuses on preparing, controlling, and archiving technical documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and traceability for avionics procedures, drawings, test reports, and integration records.

The ideal candidate has aerospace experience and familiarity with engineering documentation processes for avionics systems, integration, and verification.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's in STEM preferred.
• 2+ years in document coordination or technical writing in aerospace/defense.
• Familiar with avionics systems, integration, and related documentation practices.
• Proficient with MS Office and PDF tools.
• Knowledge of AS9100, MIL-STD-31000, and IEEE standards.
• Strong communicator with engineers, technicians and program stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and avionics documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, format, and finalize technical documents including test procedures, wiring diagrams, ICDs, and system reports.
• Ensure procedures are reviewed and approved per program standards.
• Maintain document version control and track changes across the lifecycle.
• Assemble document packages for design reviews, integration milestones, and closeouts.
• Support configuration management and align physical and digital docs.
• Coordinate storage and archiving of avionics documentation, ensuring accessibility and security.
• Serve as primary document control contact for the avionics team and interface with systems engineering, quality, and PM.
• Ensure templates and data management standards are followed.
• Travel up to 15% to customer sites for installations, testing, and support.
