Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems at MCAS Beaufort is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic 3 – Avionics to support O-Level maintenance on the F-35. You will work within the Aircraft Solutions Business Unit to maintain and repair aircraft systems, ensuring safety and airworthiness.

The role involves flexible shifts, potential temporary duties, and ongoing documentation in CMMS/ALIS. A Secret clearance is required, with relocation support possibly available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.
• Ability to obtain Collateral Duty Inspector Qualification within 18 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform Maintenance, Repair, Launch, and Recovery activities on F-35 aircraft.
• Maintain and update aircraft records and status within CMMS (ALIS).
• You will assist with OJT training for team members and partner aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Support O-Level maintenance on the F-35 and ensure aircraft are safe for flight.
