Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego (MCAS Miramar) seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic 3/4 – Egress / Seat Shop to support O-Level maintenance on the F-35. The role may require shifts, TDYs, and a commitment to safety and quality in all maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include modifications, inspections, and maintaining aircraft records in ALIS. Candidates should have a technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, military-focused

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 4 years of mechanical/aircraft airframe/avionics and/or crew chief experience for Aircraft Mechanic 3.
• High School diploma or GED; 6 years of mechanical/aircraft airframe/avionics and/or crew chief experience for Aircraft Mechanic 4.

Responsibilities

• Perform Maintenance, Repair, Launch, and Recovery activities on F-35 aircraft.
• Ensure aircraft condition and safety by performing inspections and servicing per applicable guidelines.
• Maintain aircraft records in CMMS (ALIS) and support OJT training for team members.
• Configure aircraft for modifications, assist with software uploads, and conduct system checkouts.
