Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Manager Aircraft Maintenance 1 to support F-35 organizational maintenance at MCAS Beaufort, SC. You will lead CLS sustainment operations, coordinate with agencies, and manage maintenance status for contracted work.

The role requires a US citizen with a current Secret clearance and flexibility to work extended shifts, holidays, and weekends. Competencies include leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years’ experience supervising and assigning program workloads for aircraft maintenance operations.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ yrs relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ yrs experience accepted.
• US citizen with active Secret or higher clearance; ability to obtain SAP clearance as required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage personnel, develop projects, programs, and procedures for CLS sustainment operations.
• Serve as focal point for sustainment efforts by the CLS team and coordinate with customers and agencies.
• Develop, track, update, and report aircraft status products/requirements for contracted work.
• Direct employees to initiate action requests for work outside scheduled maintenance; track cradle-to-grave actions.
• Collaborate with Product Support Manager and QA to manage maintenance surges and schedule changes.
