Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic at both Level 3 and Level 4 to lay out, fabricate, and install electrical wiring and coaxial cables in aircraft, and to test and troubleshoot systems to meet specifications.

Responsibilities include wiring installation, fault isolation, and documentation of maintenance. Requires reading schematics, and a valid active Secret clearance or higher. Travel up to 10% and potential relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of aircraft electrician/avionics experience for Mechanic 3.
• High school diploma or GED plus 6 years of aircraft electrician/avionics experience for Mechanic 4.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Cut, strip, and insulate wires and attach wiring to fixtures and components.
• Repair, remove, and reinstall wiring and monitor system quality per procedures.
• Isolate faults, troubleshoot, and repair after modifications or maintenance to restore flight readiness.
• Use ground support equipment to perform maintenance tasks and document completed work.
