Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Welder to join our team in Kansas City. You will perform MIG, TIG and arc welding on ground support equipment, interpreting blueprints and ensuring high-quality, safe welds.

The role requires at least 2 years welding experience, ability to read technical drawings, and readiness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. You will mentor junior welders and contribute to production goals while maintaining equipment and遵循 safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years welding experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must supply own hand tools and PPE.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Mentor Welder Class 3 personnel.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding per project needs.
• Prepare and align metal parts for welding.
• Operate welding equipment to fuse metal with minimal distortion.
• Inspect welds for standards and defect-free quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and use PPE.
• Train junior welders in techniques and safety protocols.
