Qualifications

• Experience fabricating safety-critical components such as seatbelts and restraints.
• Technical certificates in upholstery or textile fabrication preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in teams.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify aircraft upholstery components and harness systems.
• Read, interpret, and apply military maintenance publications and engineering drawings.
• Create new components from drawings with dimensional accuracy and safety compliance.
• Safely operate industrial sewing machines and textile fabrication equipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure design and durability standards.
• Record completed work and maintain production and inspection documentation.
• Communicate with maintenance personnel to clarify requirements and fit.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
