Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial sewing experience.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
• Ability to lift 35–55 lbs consistently during shifts.
• Experience in aerospace upholstery is required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, sew and construct pieces in a timely manner.
• Inspect pieces for correct sizes, quantities and dimensions.
• Use hand tools, scissors, tape measure, and seam ripper.
• Read drawings and pattern templates to guide production.
• Design and fabricate patterns for upholstery and foam builds.
• Install and secure upholstery with tools and adhesives.
• Mentor lesser-skilled technicians to maintain safety and quality.
