Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is seeking a Training Manager to own the design, delivery, compliance, and oversight of all training programs across the organization in Anchorage, Alaska. The role oversees CBT modules, LMS administration, and the implementation of a broad training portfolio including safety, ramp, hazmat, and deicing programs.

Responsibilities include ensuring DOT/FAA compliance, tailoring programs to changing needs, monitoring effectiveness, and maintaining records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, not required.
• 3–5 years aviation industry experience; proven Training Manager experience including OJT.
• Experience assessing training needs, lesson planning, development and implementation including CBT/e-learning.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; familiarity with traditional and modern training methods.
• Working knowledge of ground handling regulations; advanced MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training curricula, materials, and CBT modules for new hire, recurrent, and specialized programs.
• Administer and maintain the company's LMS/CBT platform, including content updates and completion tracking.
• Implement training and organizational development programs, including technical/operational, management, safety, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Ensure initial/recurrent training complies with applicable DOT/FAA requirements and regulatory directives.
• Identify training needs and tailor programs; monitor effectiveness and report outcomes to senior management.
• Maintain training records IAW Pegasus's Operations Specifications and applicable ground handling standards.
