Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Technical Training at our Cincinnati site. This hands-on leadership role designs, delivers, and monitors classroom and on-the-job training to build a skilled industrial workforce.

You will mentor a team of trainers and partner with operations, engineering, quality, safety, and HR to align training with business goals. You will lead structured OJT programs, assess jobs, and translate analyses into competency standards and training paths.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, or a related field.
3+ years of industrial on‑the‑job training experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or MRO setting.
US export control eligibility required (citizenship)

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to link training to work processes and business results.
Assess jobs and determine required skills through job analyses on the shop floor.
Create on-the-job training programs with task lists, objectives, guides, checklists, and sign‑offs.
Build and maintain the training requirements matrix and competency standards.
Deliver and facilitate training across all levels of the organization; lead train‑the‑trainer sessions.
Lead a team of OJT trainers; plan resource deployment with leadership.
Monitor OJT effectiveness; track progress and verify learning transfers to quality work.
Measure training effectiveness; report results and improvement actions to leaders.
Carry out special projects as assigned.
