Job summary

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Training Manager in Columbus, OH to lead and deliver instructor-led training for maintenance and ground operations.

You will partner with maintenance leadership, SMEs, Safety, Quality Assurance, and the Courseware team to ensure training content is current, compliant, and aligned with the SMS and maintenance program requirements. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance operations, ground operations, technical training, or a closely related field.
• Experience creating technical and hands-on training content is preferred.
• Experience facilitating instructor-led technical training in maintenance or operational environments preferred.
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical training and communicate complex maintenance concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence across functional areas.
• Experience working with SMEs in highly technical environments.
• Familiarity with SMS principles and maintenance program processes.
• Ability to manage multiple training priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training for maintenance, supply chain and ground operations personnel, including onboarding, recurrent, and targeted technical instruction.
• Teach operational procedures aligned with department training plans and job-specific requirements.
• Support the planning, design, and development of engaging courses and instructional materials that support skill development and operational excellence.
• Facilitate training that reinforces regulatory obligations, maintenance documentation standards, and SMS principles.
• Coordinate maintenance and operations training schedules, rosters, logistics, and required communications.
• Maintain accurate learner records in the LMS and ensure regulatory documentation needs are met.
• Prepare and support training readiness for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Compiles, analyzes, and distributes training reports and documentation as required.
• Ensure training reflects current procedures, technical standards, and maintenance program requirements.
• Work with SMEs to incorporate industry best practices and updates into training delivery.
• Support standardization of maintenance instruction across locations and instructors.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, and operational performance indicators.
• Recommend and implement improvements in delivery methods and session structure.
• Maintain professional currency in maintenance practices and regulatory changes.
• Partner with Maintenance leadership, Quality Assurance, Safety, and Technical Programs to align training with operational needs.
• Provide technical input and feedback on courseware updates.
• Communicate training outcomes and gaps to operational leaders.
