Job summary

Hartzell Engine Tech (HET) is seeking a technical support engineer to diagnose and resolve moderately complex aircraft engine and system issues. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to improve customer outcomes and support processes.

The role also involves guiding customers, assisting with product rollouts, and contributing to knowledge bases. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in GA aircraft power systems support, A&P/IA preferred, and a strong ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of HET products, GA aircraft systems, and support processes.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving moderately complex customer issues on piston and turbine GA aircraft.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical background preferred.
• 2–4 years in technical support/field service for GA aircraft power systems; A&P and IA preferred.
• Works under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently resolves moderately complex aircraft engine and system issues.
• Provide advanced customer support and training to customers and junior staff.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA to improve outcomes.
• Support installations, configurations, and product rollouts.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and FAQs.
