Job summary

JSX seeks an experienced Technical Services Controller to support aircraft reliability and safe operations. Reporting to Engineering, you will monitor history, analyze trends, and drive timely repair instructions across Maintenance Control and Planning.

You will generate service items, track events, and push improvements in tooling and troubleshooting. Strong avionics knowledge and FAA A&P background are valued, with a focus on cross-team communication and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; FAA A&P experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance reference materials is preferred.
• Excellent communication in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aircraft history, snag reports, and maintenance data to identify trends.
• Prioritize chronic and repeat discrepancies and coordinate timely actions.
• Generate Technical Services Items to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure repair instructions are issued promptly for recurring issues.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support using manuals and reference data.
• Maintain and update the Operationally Significant Items database.
• Track significant events through resolution and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate across Technical Operations to communicate findings and actions.
