Job summary
JSX seeks a Technical Services Controller to help improve fleet reliability and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will review maintenance data, monitor aircraft history, and coordinate actions across Engineering, Maintenance Control, and Maintenance Planning to address chronic discrepancies.
You will generate repair instructions, provide technical troubleshooting support, and support initiatives to strengthen maintenance execution and on-time performance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of line maintenance or Technical Operations with a Part 121 or Part 135 operator.
- Avionics and technical troubleshooting experience.
- Violation-free FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- Experience using aircraft maintenance reference materials and manuals.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor aircraft history, daily snag reports, and maintenance data to identify trends and recurring discrepancies.
- Coordinate timely maintenance actions and establish priorities for chronic issues.
- Generate Technical Services Items to support troubleshooting and repair of chronic and critical issues.
- Ensure repair instructions are issued promptly for recurring discrepancies and support onboard airworthiness.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance Control, Planning, and other teams to communicate findings and required actions.
