Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive aerospace sales with a focus on Bombardier programs. You will identify opportunities, analyze technical requirements, and support regional managers to win bookings.

The role requires strong aviation knowledge, at least 5 years in maintenance or technical sales, and proficiency with Salesforce and industry databases. Expect occasional travel to customer events and industry shows.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Airframe and Powerplant license and/or a degree in Aviation Technology or equivalent field of study.
5+ years’ experience as aircraft maintenance technician or equivalent position.
Strong understanding of airframe maintenance requirements and overlaps.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related software.

Responsibilities

Identify sales leads and provide technical analysis for work packages.
Utilize Salesforce.com and aviation databases to manage sales opportunities.
Analyze market, competition, and trends to align with market findings.
Prepare schedules of target customers by maintenance event dates.
Provide customers with technical input on maintenance requirements and RFQ quotes.
Prepare sales presentations and proposals to secure transactions.
Attend industry trade shows and events as needed.
