Job summary

Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics is seeking a dynamic Campus Director for the Youngstown, Ohio campus to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction, guiding student success and campus operations.

You will oversee faculty, staff, compliance with ACCSC, DOE, FAA, manage budgets, facilities, and partnerships with industry while fostering an educational environment focused on retention and program excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Management/Administration, Aviation, or equivalent.
• 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal), and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of educational regulations, accreditation, and compliance preferred.
• Experience in higher education, technical training, or career school environment preferred.
• Budget management experience.
• Proficient in computer file management, databases, and email systems.
• Experience with CNS or other CRM software preferred.
• Aviation industry knowledge preferred.
• Networking and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily campus operations and supervise campus faculty and staff.
• Support student retention, advising, academic hearings, graduations, orientations, and open houses.
• Ensure compliance with ACCSC, DOE, FAA, and applicable regulations.
• Manage budgets, equipment purchases, payroll approvals, and faculty scheduling.
• Serve as onsite Title IX Coordinator and support accommodations processes.
• Foster partnerships with industry and community organizations.
• Promote educational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
