Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Machine Repair Technician to maintain and repair PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems for airport operations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues, and log maintenance data in CMMS, while operating forklifts and other equipment on a fast-paced ramp.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year maintenance experience, and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ maintenance operations experience.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• Shift flexibility including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems.
• Service and repair PLC-driven conveyor and baggage systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Log detailed maintenance data into the CMMS.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and company vehicles.
• Respond to maintenance calls and clear baggage jams.
• Adhere to safety program and trainings.
