Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech at Orlando International Airport is seeking a Maintenance Technician MRT I to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems. You will input data into the CMMS, operate airport equipment, and assist with bag jams.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ years of maintenance experience, and familiarity with airport operations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years’ experience in the area of maintenance operations.
Industrial Electrical Experience; specifically with 3 phase motors and 480v.
Familiarity with Airport operations is a plus.
Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Computer skills with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of PLC controlled baggage, conveyor systems, and related equipment.
Provide concise, accurate data for input of maintenance information.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of conveyor/control systems.
Drive and operate golf cart, forklift, and other equipment.
Support operations by clearing bag jams.
Input maintenance data into CMMS.
Respond to maintenance calls as required.
Follow safety program and trainings.
Perform other duties as needed.
