Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, seeks an MRT1-level maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems on an airport ramp. You’ll perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagnostics, input maintenance data, and respond to outages with speed and safety.

Willingness to work day or night shifts including weekends is required. Attention to safety and accuracy in data entry, with prior maintenance experience and a valid

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of PLC controlled baggage, conveyor systems, and related equipment, components, and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose system/equipment problems, and make repairs as needed to ensure System Availability.
• Provide concise, accurate, and sufficiently detailed data for input of all maintenance information.
• Perform mechanic duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor and control systems.
• Assist with the development and ensure proper input of the maintenance data into the computerized maintenance management system.
• Respond to maintenance calls when required and/or requested.
• Comply with company safety program and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
• Must be able to respond to any system outage or other emergency within 10 minutes.
