Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Rhode Island is seeking a Machine Repair Technician to maintain and repair PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems at the airport ramp. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, log data in CMMS, operate forklifts and company vehicles, and respond to maintenance calls.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days is offered. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain security clearance, and availability for 1st

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain security clearance required.
• Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays.
• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance operations.
• Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems to ensure smooth airport operations.
• Service and repair PLC-driven conveyor and baggage systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Log detailed maintenance data into the CMMS.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, golf carts, and company vehicles.
• Respond to maintenance calls and assist in clearing baggage jams.
• Comply with company safety program and trainings.
