Job summary

Leidos seeks a Systems Integration Engineer for the TFDM program supporting the FAA. You will integrate, validate, and deploy mission-critical capabilities that enhance NAS safety and efficiency, collaborating with software, systems engineering, and FAA stakeholders.

The role is based in Egg Harbor, NJ with a hybrid schedule and up to 50% travel. You will lead integration activities, support testing and demonstrations, coordinate with FAA personnel, develop automation tools, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain FAA SF-85P Public Trust.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and validate TFDM capabilities within both physical and virtual integration laboratories.
• Execute system integration, verification, and validation activities for NAS operation.
• Support formal customer demonstrations, verification events, and acceptance testing with FAA stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software, systems engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Analyze integration and test results, identify root causes, and document resolutions.
• Support deployment and integration activities at FAA facilities, including ATCTs.
• Coordinate integration activities with FAA personnel and Leidos teams.
• Develop automated tools, scripts, and AI-assisted solutions to improve testing efficiency.
• Support remote deployment activities by coordinating with infrastructure, networking, and installation teams.
• Learn TFDM architecture, interfaces, and workflows.
• Partner with Systems Engineering to develop integration and test strategies for new capabilities.
• Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.
• Troubleshoot XML messaging, JMS queue configurations, networking issues, IP configurations, and interface connectivity.
• Demonstrate system capabilities during formal run-for-record events.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior integration engineers.
